Movies at the Square
This summer, we hosted two fantastic Friday night movies at Transcona Centennial Square, featuring The Minecraft Movie and A Complete Unknown under the night sky in Downtown Transcona. Each evening started with free popcorn and cotton candy for early arrivals and plenty of entertainment before the films began.
At The Minecraft Movie, kids enjoyed meeting Steve, who posed for photos and performed songs from the soundtrack. Before A Complete Unknown, guests entered a giveaway for a waterproof JBL speaker and a Leopold’s Tavern gift card. We also had giant games like Jenga, Connect Four, and Transcona-themed cornhole for everyone to enjoy.
