Graffiti vandalism can ruin the curb appeal of businesses and residences, but there is a way to deter it through quick and efficient removal. Thanks to the BIZ’s Anti-Graffiti Program in partnership with the City of Winnipeg,  Transcona has had clean bricks since ’06! 

The BIZ fully manages the Anti-Graffiti Program with a trained, in-house team supplemented by Provincial Green Team and Canada Summer Jobs employees in the busy summer months.  Funding support from the City of Winnipeg allows for the service to remain free of charge.

The Transcona BIZ Graffiti removal program runs every Spring to Fall. For urgent graffiti removal, you can report sightings to the City’s 311 service or add to our list by filling out the information below, and emailing a signed copy of the  Graffiti Removal Service Release & Indemnity Form to admin@transconabiz.ca

• If graffiti is on a painted surface, the Anti-Graffiti Team will colour match the painted surface and paint a small square over the graffiti. (There is a likelihood that the paint may not perfectly match the existing colour.)
• If graffiti is on a metal or unpainted surface, the Anti-Graffiti Team may use a combination of removal methods including chemicals and pressure washing.
• If graffiti is on a wooden fence, the Anti-Graffiti Team may attempt to colour match and paint, or pressure wash. (There is a likelihood the paint may not perfectly match the existing colour, and that pressure washing may damage the wood).
