The Transcona BIZ is happy to announce that we will be again producing the 2024 Transcona Calendar.

In 2023, the Transcona Food Bank received $3,130.00 from the calendar sales and we hope to make 2024 an even better success for local charities! For 2024 we have partnered with the Transcona Food Bank, The Transcona Nationals Football Club and L’Arche Winnipeg to make sure that more Transcona Charities receive the support that they need to continue to have a huge impact on our community!

All funds received from the sale of the 2024 calendar will go directly to the Transcona based charities. The cost of the calendar will be paid for by the membership of the Transcona Business Improvement Zone (BIZ).

CALLING ALL PHOTOGRAPHERS HOW CAN YOU BE A PART OF THE CALENDAR?

In 2023, Cornelius Thiessen provided photos from his personal collection to be a part of the calendar – this year we will have photos from Cornelius but we are also opening up the opportunity for others to submit their photos from within Transcona for consideration for the calendar. (Keep in mind we need seasonal photos for the whole year for the calendar.)

Photos will need to be in high resolution (over 3MB) and emailed to admin@transconabiz.ca with the photographer’s name, phone number and email address. Those photos selected for use in the 2024 calendar will receive photo credit. Photographers will be required to sign a consent form for use of their photo in the calendar and any marketing around the calendars.

DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSIONS is Friday, September 15, 2023 at 12 pm.
