The Transcona BIZ printed a 2025 Calendar, again this year, with all funds received from the sale of the calendar going directly to Transcona based charities. The cost of the calendar was paid for by the membership of the Transcona Business Improvement Zone (BIZ).

We are happy to report that donations were made to the following charities:

• Plessis Resource Centre – $750.00
• In addition, the Murdoch MacKay Collegiate, Immanuel Christian School and L’Arche Winnipeg were given 200 calendars and had the potential of raising $2,000 for all the cause respectively.

Thank you to Ball Insurance, Chicken Delight, Aunt Monica’s Attic, St., and Mad Science of Manitoba for selling the calendars.

As well as a big thank you to members of the community who submitted their beautiful snapshots of various locations in Transcona; Cornelius Thiessen, Ava-Rose Reyes, and Arthur Cowan.
