Despite the intermittent snow and mini blizzards, spring is definitely on its way to Transcona. And with spring comes the clean up.
Here at the BIZ we’re happy to announce that the 2016 Cleanup Event will take place on May 5, 2016!
So far it looks like all Transcona schools are on board and we are contacting our community groups to confirm their participation.
All participants get Tee shirts, gloves, bags, water, treats and a hot dog bbq at the Square as part of the deal!
Businesses can also get involved by becoming a sponsor of the event. Last year’s clean up was awesome thanks to the generosity of our sponsors and the efforts of the entire community.
Let’s make 2016 the best Cleanup year ever!
